Xtreme Outlaw Midget Showdown

Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex (SSMC) is one of the finest dirt track facilities in the Midwest. Constructed and operated by the Mid Missouri Modified Midget Racing Association, the Complex opened for racing in 1995. The Complex features a challenging 1/6th mile clay oval which produces two, three and even four wide racing.

Weekly racing consists of six classes of Micro Sprint cars. SSMC has held numerous special events since 1995, including MARA, POWRi and SMRS Midgets, Quad Racing, Tractor Pulls, Go-Kart racing and Pony Stock cars. In 2009 we welcome the 4th Annual Race4Life Benefit Event over the Memorial Day weekend.

The Complex has held two National Modified Midget Association National Events (1998 and 2003) with huge (over 250) car counts at each event.

The track is located on a beautifully maintained tract of land that offers shade trees (behind the grandstands) for those torrid July and August races, ample camping space, clean restrooms, and reasonably priced concessions.
