Standing as one of the longest, continually running weekly dirt tracks in the State of Illinois, Highland Speedway hosts the Xtreme Outlaw Midgets for the second time in track history on Sept. 14.
This banked 1/4-mile oval was host to a thrilling show in 2023, and this year hosts the finale of the 2024 Xtreme Outlaw-POWRi Challenge Series, where the miniseries champion will be crowned after the completion of the main event.

Opened in 1962, "World Famous" Highland Speedway is home to weekly DIRTcar racing divisions alongside hosting the DIRTcar Summer Nationals as an annual slot on the schedule. In 2024, the World of Outlaws Late Models visited the IL track for the first time, with Brian Shirley picking up the victory.
