Fresh off a POWRi WAR Sprint League championship in 2021, Mario Clouser now sets his sights on a new challenge with the Xtreme Outlaw Sprint Car Series presented by Low-E Insulation.
The 32-year-old native of Auburn, IL will drive the Eberhardt-Zirzow Racing #6 with support from Yokahoma Tire, Clouser Auto, and JKR during the 2022 season.
Clouser joins a group that already includes Jason McDougal, Chase Stockon, Zach Daum, Shane Cockrum, Landon Simon, and several soon-to-be-announced drivers as those committed to the new Series.
His bid for the inaugural championship will begin in three weeks on Monday & Tuesday, February 14-15 at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, FL. The 14-race Series starts as part of the DIRTcar Nationals with a $5,000-to-win opener and a $10,000-to-win finale.
