LATEST RACE(S): Humboldt Speedway (May 10); 81 Speedway (May 11)
CURRENT POINTS LEADER: Cannon McIntosh expanded his points lead to 74 over Ryan Timms with his second win of the season Saturday night at 81 Speedway. He came into the weekend with a gap of only 27 on Timms but was able to grow it with his ongoing streak of consistency, garnering his seventh and eighth consecutive top-five finishes over the two races in Kansas – five of which have been podiums.
MOVERS
Gavin Miller (+6): Miller made another giant leap in the standings after Kansas, jumping from 15th back into the top 10 where he now sits 494 points behind in ninth place. It’s the Pennsylvania racer’s first time back inside the top 10 since missing the US36-Sweet Springs weekend in April, when he was out recovering from injury suffered in late March.
Finishes of second at Humboldt and fourth at 81 counted as his second and third top-five finishes of the year – a category he tied for second-most during his rookie season aboard the Xtreme Outlaw Series in 2023.
Trevor Cline (-1): The 16-year-old national Midget rookie came into the weekend sitting ninth in the standings but was bumped down to 10th as Gavin Miller reclaimed his early-season presence inside the top 10. Cline completed both Kansas races on the lead lap with finishes 17th and 16th.
