POINTS UPDATE: Cannon McIntosh Leads by 153 After Fifth Win of Season at Spoon River

CURRENT POINTS LEADER: A runner up on Friday and a fifth win of the season Saturday pads Cannon McIntosh’s points lead in the standings to 153 – up eight points from where he entered the weekend with a 145-point gap over Keith Kunz/Curb-Agajanian Motorsports (KKM) teammate Ryan Timms.

MOVERS

Karter Sarff (+1): Despite results of 11th-to-seventh on Friday and 13th-to-10th on Saturday, Sarff still jumped from eighth up to seventh in the point standings, passing Trevor Cline who he now leads by 14 points.

Trevor Cline (-1): After posting six-straight top-10 finishes before the summer break, including his first career national Midget series podium finish, Cline cooled off over the weekend with results of 13th Friday and 12th Saturday. This dropped him back to eighth in the standings, now 778 points behind the leader.

Tyler Edwards (+1): Finishes of sixth and 13th over the weekend were enough to boost Edwards back inside the top-10 of the standings, where he now sits in ninth place, 864 points behind leader McIntosh.

Gavin Miller (+3): For the first time since sitting out due to injury in April, Gavin Miller reenters the top-10 of the standings following a ninth-to-third charge on Friday and fifth-to-ninth run on Saturday. The Pennsylvania native came into the weekend 13th in the standings and now sits 10th with 13 races left on the schedule.
