Keep up with the latest movers in the chase for the 2024 Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series presented by Toyota championship.

LATEST RACE(S): Farmer City Raceway (April 12-13)

CURRENT POINTS LEADER: Cannon McIntosh took a 47-point lead into Farmer City over his Keith Kunz Motorsports (KKM) teammate Ryan Timms. Timms’ first win of the season Friday night cut McIntosh’s lead down to 17, which was expanded back to 27 after McIntosh passed Timms for second in the closing laps of Saturday’s Feature.

MOVERS
Karter Sarff (-1): Sarff had a quiet weekend on track to follow-up his first win of the season in Missouri, posting finishes of 11th and 12th at Farmer City. Those runs dropped him back one spot in the standings where he now sits 156 points out of the lead.

Ashton Torgerson (+2): The 17-year-old from Glendale, AZ, garnered his first career Xtreme Outlaw Series victory Saturday night to pair with the runner-up finish he posted on Friday. The 1-2 punch vaulted him up two spots in the standings where he now sits 133 points behind leader McIntosh.

Zach Daum (+2): Daum and the Trifecta Motorsports team put in a fourth-place effort on Friday – a great rebound after mechanical issues cost them big in Missouri. However, more misfortune hindered their progress during Saturday’s main event when Daum brought out the yellow flag and came to the work area to change a flat tire, ruining their top-five run. Daum was able to come back to finish 11th, and though he advanced two positions in the standings, he lost more points to the leaders – now sitting 243 points back with 24 races left on the calendar.

TJ Smith (+1): Finishes of 14th and 17th over the weekend boosted Smith up one spot in the standings. Now in eighth place, the California racer remains the second-highest Mounce/Stout Motorsports driver in points, behind only Chase McDermand.

Trevor Cline (+1): Finishes of 14th and 19th over the weekend pushed Cline up to ninth in the standings, one week after entering the top-10 for the first time in his career.

Peter Smith (+1): Smith enters the top-10 in the standings for the first time in his career, following finishes of 16th and 19th in Farmer City.
