Klepper’s Picks: Farmer City Raceway

Rob Klepper's picks for Farmer City

Curious which drivers you should keep an eye on at each Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series presented by Toyota event? Series Announcer Rob Klepper will bring you his top-five* picks each week.

This week: Illini 100 at Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, IL, April 11-12

KLEPPER’S TOP FIVE:

1. Cannon McIntosh
Why: You can’t count out Cannon McIntosh as he’s back with Keith Kunz Motorsports in 2025, looking to claim his second straight Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series title in 2025. Last year, he claimed six victories en route to his crown. He’ll be on the hunt for his first victory at Farmer City this weekend.

2. Zach Daum
Why: New car and back to the original No. 5D for inaugural Series champion Zach Daum as he moves from Trifecta Motorsports, where he found tons of success, over to the Pat O’Dell team.

3. Chase McDermand
Why: Another veteran of the Series, the Illinois native looks to kick off the year big with a sweep in his home state, which would bring his win total to an even 10.

4. Michael Faccinto
Why: There are plenty of new faces this year, but keep an eye out for two-time Western States Midget champion and Tulsa Shootout winner Michael Faccinto as he will make his Xtreme Outlaw debut with Trifecta Motorsports.

5. Hayden Wise
Why: Fourteen-year-old North Carolina driver Hayden Wise will make her Series with the No. 94. The young lady Micro driver joins a tough crop of rookies, looking for success with the Series.

You can follow these drivers and more all weekend at Farmer City Raceway, April 11-12, by getting your tickets in advance or at the gate.

If you can’t make it to the track, you can watch every lap live – with Rob Klepper – on DIRTVision.
