We’re more than two months away from the Xtreme Outlaw Midgets debut at Farmer City (IL) Raceway on April 1-2, but the commitments are already rolling in for the 12-race Series on DIRTVision.
Chad Boat has confirmed that he’s bringing not one, not two, but three young stars on the road to compete under the CB Industries banner with the new Series in 2022. Jade Avedisian, Dominic Gorden, and Jace Park are the trio of teenager gassers who have the honor of piloting Boat’s Toyota Racing, PristineAuction.com, K&C Drywall entries.
Since trading his steering wheel for a wrench, the former national midget racing superstar himself has turned CB Industries into one of the top teams in midget racing. From grooming stars of tomorrow like Brent Crews and Ryan Timms to winning national championships with proven aces like Chris Windom, CBI has the capability to do it all.
Taking advantage of the new Xtreme Outlaw Series, Boat will continue to work with the future of the sport by offering valuable track time for these three teenagers in 2022.
Avedisian, a 15-year-old native of Clovis, CA, has already excelled in the national midget ranks with three POWRi top-fives and a USAC best of fourth in a limited number of starts. Building off of her successful micro sprint career, Jade will tackle a full midget schedule this season with sights set on the Xtreme Outlaw championship.
Gorden, a 16-year-old also from the city of Clovis, CA, is fresh off a stellar rookie attempt at the Chili Bowl Nationals which resulted in a C-Main appearance on Saturday night. He’s only attempted three POWRi shows in his short career, but now has a full season of Xtreme Outlaw competition to add to his resume.
Park, a 15-year-old from Overland Park, KS, is a graduate of the micro sprint ranks and looking to turn his attention to the world of midget racing. He recorded a top-five finish in his second-ever POWRi race last year and enters 2022 with a season of wide-open expectations.
Based in Mooresville, NC, Boat will have a home race at the nearby Millbridge Speedway on Monday & Tuesday, May 23-24, ahead of NASCAR’s Memorial Day Weekend in Charlotte. Other Midwestern events at Jacksonville (IL), I-55 (MO), Davenport (IA), Port City (OK), and I-44 Riverside (OK) round out the inaugural schedule.
