1 MONTH ALERT: Quad Cities 150 Presents Massive Event With Xtreme Outlaw Midgets, World of Outlaws Late Models

Davenport Speedway 2022

Continuing to grow into one of the biggest marquee events of the year, the My Place Hotels Quad Cities 150 presented by Hoker Trucking at Davenport Speedway returns Aug. 24-26.

The Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series presented by Toyota returns to the 1/4-mile track with a stout field of the best Midget drivers in the country, paying $4,000 to the winner on Friday (Aug. 25) and then award a $5,000 payday on Saturday (Aug. 26). Thursday (Aug. 24) will be a practice day for the Midgets.

Chase McDermand and Bryant Wiedeman were the inaugural victors of the event last year, coming ahead in two of the most exciting races of the year as the bullring track creates tight racing and plenty of opportunities for thrilling sliders.

This year, championship contenders Cannon McIntosh, Jade Avedisian, Gavin Miller and Zach Daum, among several others, will be up on the wheel to score a win during the prestigious event.

The Xtreme Outlaw Midgets will be paired with the World of Outlaw CASE Construction Equipment Late Models for the weekend. Last year, Tanner English swept the final two nights of the event last year and brought fans to their feet with one of the closest finishes in Series history. He’ll be back to try and reclaim his thrown, but will be up against the likes of defending Series champion Dennis Erb Jr., four-time Series champion Brandon Sheppard, 2015 Series champion Shane Clanton, leading Germfree Rookie of the Year contender Nick Hoffman and more.

Fans attending the event will not only enjoy the racing action but also various engaging activities and opportunities to meet the drivers – including an hour-long stage show each day starting at 5 p.m.
