The new year for the Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series presented by Toyota is in full swing and eyeing a loaded seven-race schedule in May.

The Midgets head to the American Frontier for the first time in 2025 with trips to Oklahoma and Kansas before the trek back to Illinois ends the month.

Take a look at what’s coming up:

Creek County Speedway (May 8): The Xtreme Outlaw Midgets begin the month at a new track for the Series – Sapulpa, OK’s Creek County Speedway on Thursday, May 8.

The facility has been a familiar favorite of the American Sprint Car Series since 1993 and hosts the POWRi National Midget League’s season-opening Turnpike Challenge.

Reigning Series champion Cannon McIntosh won his first career Feature at the track with POWRi in March, and Salina, OK driver Tyler Edwards picked up wins with the United Sprint League in 2024.

Humboldt Speedway (May 9): Becoming the traditional Kansas opener for the Xtreme Outlaw Midgets, Humboldt Speedway offers a $4,000 payday to the winner in a Friday night showdown.

The Midgets began competing at “The Bullring” in 2023 with Chase McDermand picking up his second career Series Feature win.

In a similar fashion to McDermand, Ashton Torgerson earned his second career Xtreme win at the 1/4-mile track in 2024.

Chase McDermand took his No. 40 Midget to Victory Lane in the 2023 debut at the 3/8-mile track, and then Cannon McIntosh earned his second win of the season there in 2024.

The Park City, KS track, located 10 minutes north of Wichita, has become a mainstay for World Racing Group in the last few years, also hosting races for the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series and World of Outlaws Real American Beer Late Model Series presented by DIRTVision.
